This assessment is intended ''exclusively'' for undergraduate students. Completion of this assessment does not guarantee approval for in-state residency classification. Residency determinations are made in strict accordance with State of Tennessee Regulations and University of Tennessee System Policy and require compliance with Eligibility Verification for Entitlements Act (link-repeat:"EVEA")[(goto-url:'https://onestop.utk.edu/scholarships-financial-aid/financial-aid/eligibility-verification-for-entitlements-act-evea/')] requirements.
Completion of this assessment does not constitute the submission of an Undergraduate Residency Application for In-State. Students must submit the application for and all required documentation by the published deadline for the respective term. After the deadline, any decision will be effective the next term.
###Important Notes:
* The Office of the Registrar reserves the right to request additional documentation as necessary. Submission of documents does not ensure approval.
* Meeting EVEA requirements alone does not guarantee eligibility for in-state classification.
For further guidance, (link-repeat:"review the Residency FAQ")[(goto-url:'https://registrar.utk.edu/student-residency-classification/residency-frequently-asked-questions/')] on the Registrar’s website before proceeding.
